A Big Joshua Tree...

This is a big Joshua tree we saw a few days ago

while we were out and about.

Flowers Don't Do Good...

Flowers don't do good where I live...or maybe it's just me! But these little yellow blossoms are peaking their heads up under the apple tree...after I took this picture a purple one appeared.

Roses Are Blooming Again...

A little past its prime...

We have a red and a pink rose bush

right beside each other.

So many buds...

The pinks got beaten up by the storm last weekend.

Roses are just about the only flower we have in our yard. We've tried many other things but they don't seem to like our hot, dry high desert weather. Later the agapanthus will bloom and we do have a few gladiolas if the wind doesn't get them...but the roses always bloom.
